Supported Living & Complex Care in Bristol

Approved regional visibility for supported living & complex care conversations in Bristol.

Supported living across Bristol

Bristol is a city that celebrates diversity and independence, and supported living here must embody those values. At My Health Care Support, we deliver supported living for adults with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs, working closely with Bristol City Council, housing providers, and community health teams.

We design support around the individual — their goals, their preferences, their definition of a good life. Whether someone is moving into their first independent tenancy, transitioning from residential care, or simply needs a change of provider, we manage the process with care, expertise, and transparency.

Our approach is long-term. We invest in stable placements, consistent staffing, and genuine relationships because that is what people deserve.

Comprehensive, person-centred support

Supported living includes daily living skills, personal care, community access, health support, social engagement, and practical tenancy management. For individuals with complex needs, our staff receive specialist training in positive behaviour support, communication strategies, and sensory approaches.

We work alongside Bristol's community learning disability teams, Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership, and other specialists to ensure that every aspect of support is clinically informed and person-centred.

Referrals and family partnership

We welcome referrals from professionals across Bristol and work transparently through the placement process. Named contacts, honest timelines, and clear communication are standard — not exceptional.

Families are valued partners in every supported living arrangement. We communicate regularly, welcome feedback, and ensure that the people who know the individual best remain actively involved in their support.
